We can't wait to share this moment with our friends and family from near and far! This website is your guide to everything you need to know from travel to accommodation and practical tips. Please read all the information on the page and make sure to RSVP via the link at the bottom of the page.

Our wedding takes place at the stunning Gróf Buttler Winery in Eger, Hungary, one of the most iconic wine regions in Hungary. The venue hosts both the ceremony and the reception, so once you arrive, you're exactly where you need to be all evening long.
Gróf Buttler Winery
Eger, Nagykőporos út 23, 3300 Hungary
Please arrive between 15:00 – 15:30
Ceremony begins promptly at 16:00 and is planned to be outdoors.
Dinner, dancing, and celebration to follow at the same venue (indoors).
We want getting to Eger to be as smooth and stress-free as possible. Here's everything you need to know about getting from the airport to the hotel, and from the hotel to the venue (and back).
We're organizing a group transport bus for international guests departing from Budapest Airport on September 17th at 19:00 - 19:15 (the bus will not leave without you!). The ride to Eger takes approximately 1.5 hours. This is the easiest way to arrive, and you'll already be with friends! Your hotel details will be shared with you in advance.
If you are already in Hungary on the 17th of September, you can join the group bus. In this case, you can reach Budapest Airport by Bolt taxi or via public transport using the Airport Express bus. Timetables and route info: BKK Airport Express. If in doubt, just ask us!
We'll organize a bus from the hotel to the winery on the wedding day so no one has to worry about driving. Just show up and enjoy! If you've booked your own accomodation, you are also welcome to hop on the bus at the stops below.
The party bus departure times:
After midnight, we'll have a minibus running periodically back to the accommodations provided by us, so you can leave whenever you're ready. Dance the night away - we've got you covered.
We organize a group bus back to Budapest or the Airport the day after the wedding (Saturday, 19th of September). The bus is set to leave at 10:00 AM on Saturday morning to the airport, with a potential stop in Budapest.
Please let us know in the RSVP.
In Hungary, during check-in, accomodations require personal identification and an additional "Tourism Fee", which is about 2-3 EUR per person.
In Hungary the local currency is HUF (Hungarian forint), but you can pay by card everywhere regardless of your base currency.

The biggest gift you could give us is choosing to travel across Europe to be with us on this day.
If you truly wish to give something, please keep it so that it fits in an envelope.
Please, no flowers! We have the decorator for that. We'd hate for anyone to carry bouquets across borders.
We've tried to think of everything, but if you have a question that isn't answered here, please don't hesitate to reach out directly. We're happy to help! (Kristin says we are repeating ourselves here but Dániel thinks it's good to reiterate anyways.)
Yes! You're welcome to join the group bus from Budapest Airport to Eger on the 17th, even if you're staying elsewhere. Please note it won't make additional stops. You'll need to arrange your own way from the drop-off point to your hotel.
Yes! Our organized transport runs from our hosted hotel to the venue. If you're staying independently, you'll need to arrange your own way to and from the winery on the wedding day or hop on at one of our provided stops.
Hungary uses the Hungarian Forint (HUF). Card payments are widely accepted. 1 EUR / 7.5 DKK = 350-375 HUF and can fluctuate.
The weather in the past years has been between 15-25 degrees Celsius.
No need to overthink, just book your tickets to Budapest Liszt Ferenc International Airport (BUD).
Passport, wedding clothes, and your blue EU health insurance card, just to be safe.

Thank you for being part of our story. Prepare for good wine, great food, and dancing until our shoes fall apart!
If you have any questions at all, please don't hesitate to reach out. We hope to see you there!
